Jewelry/Closet Organizer
I got the inspiration for this project over at The Fabric Market. Without a tutorial though, I kinda had to wing it. Got the frame from Roberts, took out the center. I used a square scrap of fabric that I had leftover and cut the middle out of it. I wrapped the fabric around the frame and used a hot glue gun to secure it down. (My fingers still have blisters, yikes!) After the fabric was secured in place, I drilled holes along the bottom and screwed in my hooks. Then took a crossstitch square and glued it to the inside of the frame with hot glue again.
Voila!!! It holds earrings, necklaces, scarves, hats, and anything else in your closet… Or right now, mine:)
First time user of power-tools right here! Yep, I’m proud to say I can now handle a drill!!

Hi, I’m visiting from New Friend Friday. I love what you’ve done with this and the cross stitch fabric is a great idea. I have wanted to make one of these for a while now, maybe I will!

Super cute! I love the fabric you used for the frame. It turned out fabulous! Thanks so much for stopping by and joining the Sunday Showcase Party! I greatly appreciate it! Hope you have a great week! ~ Stephanie Lynn
We are making these at YW camp this year. We made them out of the screen fabric you put on your window or sliding door. Then we sewed the fabric around all edges & hang with wire. They turned out really cute. Your idea is cute too.
