Chic Modern Wedding Quilt

Author: So I have a confession. Yup, another one. Ok, ya ready…
Quilting is my favorite.
Don’t get me wrong, crafting is soooo much fun, re-purposing, decorating, baking, all SOOOO fun!!
But I started this whole crafty journey with sewing blankets and quilts,
(my 1st baby blanket, hee hee)
and that’s what I still love to do:)
So when my best friend asked me to help her make a quilt for her friend’s wedding gift, I was jumping for joy!!
She picked out the most gorgeous fabric (I don’t know the name of the line, but if any of you recognize it, let me know:), we figured out a pattern, and whipped up this gorgeous quilt!!
The back side is made with oh so soft minky:)
Machine quilted with loops…
This was a hard one to give away… One of these days, I will make one to keep:)

I LOVE this color combination, and with the minky on the back it’s just gorgeous. I just tried a sample of machine quilting about a week ago and free formed it. It went pretty good! Does it get easier? did you have a template to go off of? Your quilting is just fantastic. Great job
